Should my titles be unrelated to my posts? - Friday, July 24, 2009 10:34 PM

Had a nice chat with Justin yesterday, his dad fetched me to clementi after CCAs ended. We talked about our classes and people, but nothing deeper than that. It was still fun, though :)
And I'm pretty convinced yesterday was the worst day of my life until after school. First, in the morning I had my dad hollering at me in the car. Classes were as usual. But after that, I went into my classroom, all alone(they did some investigation for h1n1 or something, so we spent our time in The Space) and listened to some music. Isn't that totally pathetic? Then I went for CCA, and I got yelled at by my superior officer for using a brass button for my NP uniform. And then he made me stand in the corner, and there was a glass door there so I could see that I was wearing an oversized PE shirt. Did I mention that he made me change out of my NP uniform and into PE attire 3 times? Then he finally come and yell at me somemore after making me stand for more than an hour, and pumped me 30. And trust me, it's a lot harder pumping while shouting at the top of your lungs.
I know he was trying to break me, but I didn't give him the satisfaction. That's hardcore badass already lor...

Today rb and gab came to my house for my RS and after RB left me and gab did some serious laughing. See, my little cousins were over for dinner, and they discovered my phone, so they apparently went to my contact list and managed to call Shanisse( what are the chances of that????)! Then I was like, sorry sorry sorry, and won't happen again x3. But then they were laughing like hell and called another random number, which I checked my call log to find that it was Miao Ling, and I was super wtf xD. Then we got a brilliant idea! We started calling other people, Limin was the first one, then they took the initiative to call Bryce, so I told them, "Say Bryce, you are an ass", and we called Shanisse again, which was ALL gab's idea :D

So now they are saying alot of crap, and screaming very obscene things, like (gabriel takes over here):
"Keeve likes his hairy butthead"
"Keeve's real identity is a GIRL"
"Gabriel wants to drink your pee!"
and other related stuffs.

I didn't want to put my side of the obscene stuffs, the reason being I changed my identity to *someone* in 1i1, starts with B :D!

(Back to Keeve narrating) So today I very happy lor :D. But when they get home and start saying all those stuff, I will totally die.

PS The part about them saying stuff abt the big black hairy thing wasn'y my fault. I dunno how they learnt it, but it's not my fault tio liao.

Parkour - Tuesday, July 7, 2009 1:36 AM

Lately Nigel has come up with this brilliant idea of creating a parkour club! Parkour is a form of proness where you try to get from one place to another as fast as possible, and most of the time you run in a straight line. So today we practised some parkour at the staircase outside my classroom. So we tried jumping onto the staircase via grabbing the railing and then hauling ourselves up. Nigel couldn't get his foot on the stairway -.-, but I managed to grab the railing, and then did like a half chin-up and finally brought my foot up to a hold of some sort! Don't worry Nigel, you can probably do it if you try hard enough :)
I can't...believe it. My bro wtfpwned me 2 times in 24-hours. First, I left my blog wide open to prying eyes on my laptop moniter while I was doing chinese on my mom's com (my com can't use hansvision or any other chinese writing), and when I was completely absorbed, he was like: Hey, so what do you play on your gameboy micro?
'How the hell do you know that???"
'I read your blog lah, duh!'
Then we started rofling :D. And today he caught me singing along to Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb' and called me a fag, and in case you get the wrong idea, MC has a very bad voice.
So I said," You think I'm being a fag singing her songs?? I have a friend("") who watched the whole Hannah Monatnah movie leh!"
"Then he's an ultra gay fag! :DDDDD"
By now you should prob know who that friend is, so, ;)!

Pretending to be Asleep - Sunday, July 5, 2009 9:54 PM

The past few days I've kept going to my room with the excuse that I need some sleep, and then I go to my room, take out my GB micro and start playing in secret :) It's really fun and you should really try it! When you're in the room you have to turn down the volume from your GB till it's really low, or your parents might come in and screw you, so that's what I did. Sometimes you can hear what they are doing outside. Cos in the room it's creepily quiet, so I kept using the noise of the door opening from the other rooms to hide my gameboy. I realised that my mother is a whole lot sharper than my father, or at least more suspicious. In the morning I was pretending to sleep and was using my brother for cover in case they came in (he sleeps like log), then he started snoring. I could hardly hear what was happening outside lah, but then I still continued playing. Then when I least expected it, my father came barging into the room. My arm made a really obvious dive to hide my GB under my pillow, and to my surprise, my father just said, "Oei, wake up already lah, Delwin is here!" I was still pretending to be asleep then, and I long before knew that Delwin, my 7-year old cousin was in the house, lol. But my father rules at being blur :D! Just last night I used a diversion by putting my phone next to me and blaring music. But I was actually focusing on my GB. So when my mother popped in I was quick enough to coolly slip it under my pillow and pretend to be sleeping. SO my mother took it that I was listening to music to sleep, and was too lay to turn off my phone, so she just went back outside. This is a sure-win method to get the free time we all truly deserve, instead of being dragged to sutdy the whole bloody day >:(

Oh, and how you like my new skin? It's a Taylor Swift skin, I know, but I just realised that all her songs will soon be on radio, so I decided to get a blogskin on her. Besides, the romeo and juliet theme kind of suits me, right? I ahve to get her CD from Justin! He's an expert when it comes to buying Music CDs! 8D

Today was really exciting. I went for dinner with my little cousin and his little brother, and after eating in crystal jade, we went to Metro to buy some toys for my cousins. I got a little carried away, though. I saw this toy gun called 'Nerf', then at first I said it was for nerds, cause the name suggests as much. But then my cousin wanted to buy some Spiderman action figures, and I realised that Nerf was actually so cool compared to those pieces of crap. So I got a Nerf and managed to convince the older cousin to buy it instead of his Spiderman thing. Then the next thing I knew I was running around the store trying to shoot him. I must have looked like a retard, but I couldn't help it lor. See, guns and shooting to me is like Hannah Montanah for Bryce :D.
But before that the day wasn't so good. I slept really late the last night playing Pokemon on my GBA( I suddenly feel like playing, no reason), cause my mom says I can't play now that school has begun, so after I came back from lunch I slept all the way to dinner, and that still wasn't enough. Still my mom woke me up, and seriously pissed me off. I was just sleeping then she go and wake me up, then when I couldn't, she purposely go and use the grinder outside, which is damn loud and guttery to wake me up leh >:(
Now I'm watching Harry Potter while trying to upload a video for my history project. Tomorrow my cousins are coming over again. Yay!

Lotteries- A Tax On the Poor - Thursday, July 2, 2009 6:01 PM

Lotteries have been called a tax on the poor. Ultimately at only a dollar or two a ticket, anyone can play the lotteries. However, many people become addicted to buying tickets and they can cause family/marital problems. Discuss this topic with a parent and get their view on lotteries and specifically lotteries in Singapore. Include at least one quote from an adult, one quote or reference from either an NPR presentation or YouTube video in your discussion. Your blog entry has to be at least 200 words in length and you must either support lotteries or condemn them.

Gambling has never been a problem in my family, as my family members know how to manage their urges. However, my mother claims that gambling really isn't a bad thing. My grandfather is a Majong pro, and he's won so many games and bets that almost nobody bets money when playing with him. He has earned a lot of money through this. He no longer plays as often, but he still makes the occasional quick buck or two from this. Don't get me wrong, my grandfather is not that bad a gambler. As I said, he can manage his impulses to gamble away all his savings. He has never been to a casino, and neither has any of my other family members. When I asked my father for his opinion on gambling, I emphasised on why he bets on 4D sometimes. He said that it was to give him something to hope for and keep him through another work day. I feel that too much of this thinking will result in gambling problems, as if somebody thinks he is gambling just for relaxation and motivation, and thus spend more on gambling, he might eventually get addicted to gambling.
'Just get yourself hooked on other things', is what my father believes in to avoid getting a gambling problem, and what that 'something' is I really don't know. Anyways, there is reportedly a 'new drug, Nalmefene, (that) may help reduce urges in pathological gamblers.' This drug has not been tested yet, but I hope that people who haven't heard of the rules my father lives by can finally quit gambling with this drug.
