FAMILY REUNION
My mother died just last year. The pain of the reality was still caused fresh tears to flow.
I slipped the red pill into my mouth. It tasted bitter, but I savoured my last taste in life.
It started with the numbing of my fingers, then my vision slowly ebbed away.
